Please Note: We will always have this product in stock unless otherwise noted. Please disregard the stock status shown above. Due to our inventory system, it sometimes gets out of sync and is sometimes difficult to correct with this particular item.We here at Amped Airsoft felt that there needed to be a better solution to the current air rigs on the market. Several months ago, we decided to start testing a new design that we felt would accomplish what we were trying to achieve. After months of testing, we have decided that it is time to release our new air rig line to the players!
This air rig is what we like to call our SLP (Super Low Pressure) Air Rig. This system incorporates a more robust single regulator that allows you to still adjust your PSI with the ease of twisting a knob, just like the mini reg on our other air rigs. This system is able to take the pressure of any
SLP regulated HPA tank. This means that the tank outputs at a pressure lower than 300 PSI. Most typical HPA tank regulators output anywhere from 600-800 PSI.
Please note, this air rig can NOT use any HPA tank that outputs higher than 300 PSI! If you hook up an HPA tank that outputs more than 300 PSI to this system, it will damage the regulator, rupture the macro line, and possibly destroy your solenoids in your Fusion Engine. Click HereA couple months ago we were contemplating on releasing this system, but wanted to make sure to put our system to the test so that we knew it performed as well as, if not better than, the current systems out there.
We decided to outfit six players from our team (Amped Airsoft Operators) with this system to put it through it's paces. We first played with it at our local games, and then after a couple months of using it steadily, we felt confident enough to take it with us to Operation Irene. Throughout the Operation, our system performed flawlessly without any hiccups.
It's safe to say that between our team members and customers who currently run these air rigs, there are hundreds of thousands of shots without any reported issues when it comes to functionality or performance.
Here is a list of Pros and Cons that we came up with for this system:
PROS- Light Weight/Less Bulky/Take up less room in pack
- Eliminates need for secondary regulator
- Under half the price of the original air rigs
- Ease of PSI adjustment
- Straight line for easy concealment
CONS
- Can not use a normal HPA tank. Must be under 300 PSI!
- The regulator used on this is not as small a profile as the mini reg on the standard air rig (But takes up less room than the Palmers Regulator, and eliminated the mini reg)
- Must purchase a SLP Tank or Regulator for your existing tank (Still cheaper to purchase than the typical air rig setup)
